This Saskatchewan SINP is for those people who are already living and working in
Saskatchewan and wants to become permanent residents. This is further divided into
several streams.
Existing work permit sub-category: If you are a skilled worker who has worked in Saskatchewan for the past 6 months under a closed work permit or through one of the International Experience Canada programmes, you are eligible to apply for this programme if you have a permanent job offer from the company where you have worked for the past 6 months.
Sub-category of pilot projects in the hospitality sector: You are eligible to apply if you are a foreign national who has worked as a food/beverage server, food/counter attendant, kitchen assistance, or housekeeping/cleaning crew.
Health profession sub-category: You are eligible to apply under this program if you are an internationally trained health care professional who has been working for 6 months under a temporary work permit. It is divided into 3 streams: physicians, nurses, and other health professionals.
Long-haul truck driver sub-category: A foreign national can apply for this program if they’re working for a trucking firm in Saskatchewan.

Saskatchewan Institutions or Canadian Institutions can apply for this program.
Students who have received a certificate, diploma, or degree from a Saskatchewan institution for a recognized post-secondary educational institution. The curriculum must last at least 1 academic year and include at least eight months of study. You have a job offer that falls within the NOC 0, A, or B category and have worked in Saskatchewan for a minimum of 960 hours.
If you have graduated with a certificate, diploma, or degree from a recognized post-secondary educational institution in Canada but outside Saskatchewan. The duration of the program must be a minimum of 2 academic years with at least 16 months of study and have worked for at least 24 consecutive months with a minimum of 3840 hours of paid employment in Saskatchewan under post-graduation work permit. Your job offer should fall into a NOC Type O, A, or B category. You should have a current full-time, permanent employment offer from an employer in Saskatchewan.
- Business NominationPotential business entrepreneurs who want to
start their own business in Saskatchewan can apply by submitting an Expression of
Interest under Entrepreneur category and Farmer Category
They are ready to invest a minimum of $3000,000 CAD in Regina and Saskatchewan or $200,000 in other Saskatchewan communities with a verifiable minimum net worth of $500,000 CAD. Applicant must have a minimum of three years of relevant business or management experience. Business in Regina or Saskatoon, should create at least two employment opportunities for Canadian citizens of the permanent residents of Saskatchewan who are not related to them.
